Woke up early on Dec 13th, ’cause Ate Sam is so excited to meet Boo2x Maj. Only this day the tripod I brought has been utilized (trying to make sure to capture every moment especially a pic of us three).
..And from here baby sitting and more sleepless nights officially had began!
P.S. Happy to have time to edit and photo dump in my [multiply]. Wish I could do this quicker…
After a half-day rest (though Chard with a “friend”
and Daddy Bing dropped by on Baby Maj’s Day), Dambby’s obliged to stand up and to breast feed. Just as we thought that 1 and a half day old Maj is excited for her mother, the whole time Dambby’s inside the nursery, Boo2x was sleeping. And so that very afternoon(even we don’t want to), we requested Maj be moved to our room. ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
Dec 11th, morning ’til night,
we had visitors from relatives to friends, officemates to ex-officemates (? LOL). Dec 12th, Rochelle [multiply] was able to make it but was caught in traffic that’s why she didn’t stayed that long. The week was also Sam’s 3rd quarter exams and supposedly they would be visiting the same day, but I opted them not to travel anymore because of traffic jam as always on a friday (and besides we’ll be going home early the next day).
P.S. Thank you so much guys for your time & effort as well as for the greetings (to some who were not able to hehehe).

Last year, The Lord let me had a little taste of The Joyous Season in Hongkong: lights abundant (electricity’s much cheaper), “airconditioned” atmosphere, and Hongkies everywhere on their furry winter attires. And that short happy happy still lingers (thanks to Sunny Company). Could have been happier ofcourse if my family’s with me that time.
Going to Happy Valley (Hongkong Island) to hear the noontime English Sunday Mass is one thing I really missed. From the hotel, I used to take the ferry boat (instead of MTR) and then tram ride to get to St. Margaret’s Church (thank you Ms. Sech for bringing us there). Kewl priest (sorry I don’t know his name) always gave sensible, lively sermons/stories with a tweak of humor. IMHO, I hope all other priests should be like him…
And now probably you have in min
d where Maj’s name came from. Her first name Margaret was simply named after the church from the country where she was conceived. Jeihl (pronounced as “Hale” not “jail”) was Ate Sam and Che’s choice to put some uniqueness. I think they squeezed it out from Heigl of Katherine Heigl , changing H to J and g to h. Cause I really want a nickname MJ and we had a hard time thinking for the J. Originally our choices were Justine or Jelena (pr. He-lee-na) but the two older chickas crossed it out. Not MJ, Maja or Marj but Maj. Ma from Margaret and J from Jeihl = Maj (pretty inspired by the name Madge).

December 10th 2008. As early as 6AM, Dambby was fetched and carried to the delivery suite(as they label it) for some preparator
y procedures. Around 7:23AM, the mash-awaited Margaret Jeihl Llana Co was taken out from Dambby’s womb alive. Praise God my two chickas safely and smoothly undergone the CS operation(CS should be quick, 20mins max). The hubby not allowed inside during the operation, but they ask for a camera (I gave Che’s Sony point & shoot) and one nurse assigned as photographer inside (ganon pala). As expected, I didn’t wait too long. And before they brought Maj to the nursery, as usual, the baby presented to Daddy me. “Nanganak na ako”…that’s how I felt at that moment (as if it’s my first time). Nothing/no one can offer such joy.
P.S. >>> The Lord’s Day could have been Maj’s birthday…
P.S. >>> Not sure if we can hear mass later, Maj is sick a little bit probably because of the changing weather.
P.S. >>> Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Dambby’s admitted in the evening of December 9th as per her OB’s mandate (early morning next day will be her CS operation). Everything’s ready except I have to sterilize feeding bottles we’ll bring to the hospital. I think the Medical City will not provide and DOH’s encouraging moms to breast feed. Costly Avent Philips, timely that I’m in Hongkong and was able to buy almost a complete set including an electric sterilizer (During Sam’s time, we were using the gas stove casserole type that melted 3 dozens [or more than?] of Pigeon bottles! Tsk tsk tsk) *** That night, we already have visitors. Ate Sheila a.k.a.Tetey, who’s also expecting a baby girl by March of next year, dropped by before going home (her house somewhere in Pasig). Her request’s granted to have a photograph together before Dambby’s tummy emptied. Anna & Hannah decided to visit also(Anna work-based in Singapore just came back and will be leaving on the 14th, Hannah will be having vacation in Singapore also the next day Dec 10th. O diba so busy!). *** @10 PM, dextrose was installed. Antapang ni Dambby, takot ako! First, on the left-hand, the plastic tube (pwede na atang gamiting straw sa Chocolait) that was inserted by the nurse missed the nerve. No choice but to pull it off the skin and insert it on the right hand. Kaya nyong hindi mapamura? Lucky nurse at hindi sya nabangas. Kapanibago, kewl na kewl lang si Dambby!

My cellphone’s clock alarmed as it used to @ 5:30 AM. Lucky to steal some time to make a post while my two chickas (Dambby & Maj) still busy asleep.
Last week, I was scheduled for SSAD training. May pag-asa pa ba talaga??? Last Sunday, we stayed home and hear TV mass. Gospel’s about the story of Annunciation sending a message that there’s nothing impossible with God. I do believe and so I must or else will let the devil win his way. Sadness, during this time of the year pa, the devil’s trying to spoil the holidays…haaayyy akala mo’y ok na. What’s my point? Envy equals ugliness. And so I pray…
P.S. The reason why I woke up early today is to take FD for checkup (it’s her 6th-month). Glad I was able to do things today as planned. And before the devil strikes again and completely ruin my paternal leave and all the festivities, magpakamanhid na lang muna…mag-share and BLOG na lang…photos piling up again and we are enjoying our new bundle of joy anyway!

P.S. Baby Maj @ 36 weeks inside of Dambby’s womb. 9 days (to be exact) to go baby! Tibay at lakas ng loob Dambby! Kaya mo yan. Isipin mo 20 mins lang, mailabas din sya.
