Good Friday

    Great!!! The whole holidays (here in HK too but starts from today up to Monday) were granted to me.  At least I could rest after this stressful week.  Weird lang cause obviously my first time to have the Holy week away from a Catholic populated place.  Ala akong naririnig na pasyon na sa aming brgy pa sa Navotas e kahit madaling araw e napakalakas ng sounds.

    BTW, Dambby and Sam were here with me in HK (arrived last Monday evening).  But somehow I’m guilty, and I’m really guilty…parang pinapunta ko lang dito sila para magkulong sa apartment, magluto, magligpit ng aking kalat, maghugas ng plato, maglaba’t mamalantsa!  Because of my tight work sched, I was not able to manage & accompany them to visit and enjoy even one of the several tourist’s spots here.   And bad thing on planning ahead of time, it won’t be done for sure.  Just like we should travel to Macau today to visit some churches there, but  the weather did not cooperate.  By ferry in order to get there, the wind’s blowing strong (just like there’s a storm approaching) the waves are high and I won’t take that risk sailing for 1+hr.  Hope it will be fine tomorrow.  But this one’s for sure, by hook and whatever crook, our destination on Monday: Ocean Park.  Mag-amok na si Sam nito pag di pa matuloy.  

    In time for Pagninilay, our Sunshot’s theme for the month of March is Reflection.  Let me share them here…

    Shame, we weren’t able to attend the Holy Eucharist (really bad)    Woke up very late and in the afternoon also missed the last mass @ MOA. :-X

    As planned and yet we’d arrived late @ Lolo Maeng’s (of Dambby) place.   Food were almost consumed (bote nga).  But what’s good during this time is that even when you’re older and married, you’ll still receive aginaldo. (Thank you to Ninong Ruben, Kuya Boyet and family in US of A , hello there! take care always).  Da best magpasko sa Pinas!  

    Nice to see Che’s close cousins again (my poker buddies: Ate Joey, Joey’s BF Mike, Ate Grace, Ate Sheila, Kuya Odie, Kuya Jibet, Gio & Kuya Vanny’s not there hehehe).  As usual we have our exchange gifts.  And it’s fun! 

    Nakatakas ang nanay ko at ang tiyahin ko sa panghapong batch ng mga namamasko sa amin! Sa dami naming kamag-anak talo pa ata ang isang dosenang barangay! hehehehe. But real thing is they want to watch Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo!  Nauna na sila pumunta ng MOA at sumunod na lang kami pagtapos sa Malabon. Pinoy movies is love.  But come ón I’m not a fan of Juday…

Half an hour before the movie, I was able to capture a short fireworks display…(presenting ang walang kawenta kwenta kong shots >>> here )

LB…X-citement

    Dambby’s daddy (Bing) has been living in Los Baños for more than 5 years (think 8 years?).  Before, we used to spend our weekends there, right place for relaxation.  Actually you can jog from their village, all the way to UPLB… really missing it but those were the days…now since my father-in-law re-married, we have to adjust …kaya ngayon madalang pa sa utot ng kabayo ang pagdalaw namin dun…  

    This time we make sure to be there at least the day of Christmas Eve (2007)…enjoyed but sadly not the same excitement as before…

    Tis the first time I was able to bring my DSLR here.  Great to play with nature in LB.  Several subjects/spots:  University of the Philippines, Mt. Makiling, Magnetic Hill etc. OTS ito!!! How lucky I am, it rained from time to time. Ending? Some makro-makrohan from the frontyard (not back) 

P.S. - I miss Yaya’s specialties so muchhhhh: kaldereta and adobong tustado.  But no kaldereta that day (kapaglaway)

Weiiii…

I just returned to Hongkong yesternight after a short short leave in PHP to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends.   

Hongkies, mmm goy very much for welcoming mehhhhh!:  my email’s storage almost full, problems do arise the moment regression test is about to start (thank u teammates who did some fixes while I’m away), my VPN notebook (for remote access of office network) was handed to me this morning and I’m working from apartment as I type this entry! halaaaaa…

Time check 11pm, and still debugging…Good luck to me… 

Re-Treats

Day after my arrival from HK, I reported for work and decided to enjoy chillax that night (always postponed ever) with some Sunlifer  friends. Others can’t join…good for me ’cause I have to spend less…hehehe

Miissing this so much…definitely…  

BTW, Dambby’s not with us that night. (nag-ubos ng VL) 

Weekend…finally

Got enough Zzzzzzzz  (9 hrs)…

I planned to go to the gym @ 7am with Erwin but (olehhh) my mind dictates me to stay on bed.  Just finished my lunch and at the same time doing other stuff…laundry (hand & machine wash), watching TV, surfing NBA.com’s courtside live update Lakers vs Blazers (Go Lakers, this time Kobe = MVP for sure…exclamation point), chatting with Dambby and as well as playing with my toy (DSLR).

Kewl !!!  I deserve to have this. Right?
