Hello Hongkong! First day of work here in Sunlife Tower, Gateway, HK. Temperature is going down (about 14 degrees)…It's terribly cold. No one to hug especially on my first night @ the hotel.
Our arrival yesterday was really a THRILL. Madam Lea was even interrogated by the HK immigration personnel. We got lost several times. The bag containing 4 pairs of Lea's footwears was suspected to be left in the airport express train but well actually it was placed behind the sofa of the hotel reception area hehehe. My knees are shaking. My back is aching. Struggled sleeping. I love you Lord!
On the brighter side, my DSLR will definitely enjoy this opportunity! (Wait…pics to follow)
All has been set. Today is the day I'll be away from home for 3 weeks. Woke up @ 4:30 today 'cause I learned just only yesterday afternoon that our flight has been moved a bit earlier from 12:30pm to 10:00am. Oh well we can't get away from it.
After claiming my passport, I have to get back to office to get some stuff like the airline ticket, pocket money etc. What a cram!!!
Well, let's charge this to experience…and just wish me luck.
Gastos! Safety first. Last October my budget was allotted mainly for the maintenance of Inay's hatch (clutch, timing belt, water pump etc.). Really worried of its breaks, I decided to take a leave to have its drum breaks checked @ HONGLY located in Sucat, Parañaque. (Thanks to Sir Allan, the owner) And yes, the left rear break has a leak. Thanks to my instinct, Dambby should be safe driving while I'm away.
After having the breaks fixed and cleaned by lunchtime, ate @ SM Sucat and made some last minute shopping ofcourse, we went straight to Manila Memorial to visit Inay's grave. Dual purpose: All Souls' Day and her birthday (November 4). Did not stay long there, for the wind blew harder and the rain poured heavily. Our apology and thanks Inay!
We know you're still here to guide us. We miss & love you so much!
Normally we have our grocery every Sunday end of the month but this time a bit earlier to buy some personal stuff for my stay in Hongkong. Before malling, we attended the Holy Mass @ the Shrine of Jesus (beside Mall of Asia).
Di pa nag-agahan. My breakfast treat for me and my girls @ Starbucks. Mga alas-onse na ata ito…
Now…ready get set for shopping galore!!!
Passport photos ng maglola @ Kodak, the whole family should visit me in HK if the on-site assignment will push through next year…

Dambby, Mommy, Sam and I went to the dentist @ Malabon Citisquare. My kumpareng Leonard T. Santos is now a dentist! Gwapong gwapo lalo in his white dentist vest. Akalain mo ang bilis talaga ng panahon.
Ofcourse his fee should be discounted. Magkasoli-an na ng kandila kung walang discount!
I learned also that day that he and Nelson Arevalo Jr. (one fo our groomsmen) together with their family would be going to Hongkong Dec 1 and then to Macau for 4 days.
He mentioned that her mother was planning to stay and enjoy the most expensive hotel in Macau. Yet at the back of my mind… more money = more problem…
Friday should be a sort of my "despedida" as Ronaldo Roberto requested before I fly to HK. Unfortunately, we decided not to go on with the plan since the group is incomplete. Boker, that time, was on his way home from Singapore and so it's somewhat impossible for him to appear and besides he doesn't even know there is a night-out . Joseph can't come, forgot to inform Glenn M. …no idea that Dambby invited Janice…
I apologize. My fault, ugly disorganized.
However, since Janice was already in Makati and she even fight thru traffic from Navotas, the three of us had some chill @ Blue Wave after my basketball. Guess what, akalain mo nakahabol pa si Boker dun! Hahahaha…Hamakin ang lahat makita ka lamang. Anyway thanks guys for more than an hour of fun.
A movie last Saturday. I hate going out on Saturdays 'cause this day of the week equals heavy traffic. True! Initial plan is to watch One More Chance, last full show @ SM MOA, but upon reaching the intersection of R-10 and C-3 road (this is 5 minutes away from our house), have mercy! sangkatutak ang Optimus Prime! I was able to turn left and decided to go northbound. This doesn't end here, it's everyday in EDSA specifically now there's TRINOMA adding to traffic jam on that part. Our ending? Gateway and it's our (referring to Dambby,Sam & myself…) first time to watch movie here.
Dinner @Teriyaki Boy, one hour b4 movie time
All smiles and tears
We enjoyed Popoy and Basha. Personally I admire John Lloyd's acting prowess. Great movie! Good times!
Busy bees do deserve even just a new haircut I think…and they are proud of it hehehe

from lengthy to "Gretchen" inspired cut from skin-head to clean cut
Actually we have this two weeks ago. It's been us versus time and it's pretty obvious: pimples kinda invading my face…. and gettin hollow? Lokohan na 'to!!! huhuhuhu
Anyway, thanks to Remo of Tony & Jacky, Malate branch for making us look confident with our new hair! (parang artista nag-e-endorse a hahahaha)
exactly a week left, (our departure scheduled on the 28th, 'cause my passport would be ready the latest by the 27th) and I'll be away from home. slow down, relax and I think I'll be OK.
I got some time to reduce (the size), edit and upload some of the photos from the wedding….wheeewwww….mag one year na. Anyway for those interested, you may enjoy it here >>> Dambby Poses
